In 1999, Mark Pezzelato began to create and record music for Vanek. Since those early beginnings, he has written over 100 songs, played all instruments (drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals) on 3 full length albums; “Vanek Self-titled Debut”, “Open Arms (Acoustic Ablum)”, and “Beyond Recognition” and played over 30 shows. The development of Vanek has seen many changes, one of those is becoming a full 5 piece band including two drummers. Noteably, 2009, was a monumental year for Vanek with much growth and success happening very rapidly.
The 2009 Vanek album “Beyond Recognition”, is now re-released on iTunes in anticipation for the new Vanek album ”I Am Here”, which is set to be released in early 2012.
